Good Friday’s Friendly Fill Ins

It’s Good Friday and it’s time for the fill ins which are set by Annie at McGuffy’s Reader and Ellen at 15andmeowing.com – why don’t you come and join us. The words in purple are the prompts that are provided and then the rest is me.

1. For Easter (or Passover), I‘m going to take time to remember loved ones that are no longer with us and to think of all the things I have to be grateful for.
2. My favorite Easter (or Passover) treat is a hot cross bun, toasted and slathered with butter, but this year I haven’t had a single one. That’s very remiss of me.
3. Lately, the song Manamanah by the Muppets is stuck in my head. The radio station we listen to on the way home from work always plays this tune on a Friday, so it’s a sign that the weekend has started. It’s a great way to wind down from work, listening to muppets sing a nonsense song – it is guaranteed to make me smile, but then I have it in my head for ages.
4. The A-Z Blogging Challenge starts in two days!! Those of us who are crazy enough blog every day of April apart from the Sundays, for every letter of the alphabet. This year I’m doing the theme of romance and dating for married couples – my favourite topic.
Do you get songs stuck in your head easily? Before you go, hop over to Annie’s Blog and see what my fellow bloggers have come up with.
Have a peaceful Easter.

P.S: Today was Bramble Jelly Sassy Pants second birthday so of course we had to get her a Pupcake to celebrate with.
