A to Z Challenge

Instagram

Day 7 of @thesealeychallenge is Tongues of Fire by Sean Hewitt. Beautifully written poems that shine a light on the anguish and joy of being human alongside the mysterious world of nature.
A wonderful window of @jellycat rabbits - I wanted them all. 💜
Day 6 of @thesealeychallenge and its another secondhand bookshop find, which I bought because of an Australian link. It was only after reading and looking up the author, Frieda Hughes, that I discovered she is the daughter of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath.
Beautiful dahlia. 💜
Day 5 of @thesealeychallenge and its the brilliance of Sylvia Plath.
Gorgeous butterfly that my beloved spotted on his walk. 🦋
Day 3 of @thesealeychallenge and its another secondhand bookshop find. This collection is a mixture of poems about childhood memories, grieving, myths, life, and science fiction, and also contains comic-poems.
This adorable little dog visited me at work today - too cute.😍
Day 1 of @thesealeychallenge is Injury Time by Clive James. Such a beautiful collection of poems that explore his own mortality, memories of his life, and a longing for Australia.
Bramble Jelly has had a much needed visit to the hairdresser - she looks so much smaller. 💜
What I'll be reading for week one of @thesealeychallenge - a community challenge to read
Love this window display in one of Nairn's charity shops earlier in the year. The British Red Cross shop always has the best displays. 📚
